Tiger2
Anybody watch this game, curious as to how it went ? From what I heard Harriman played well up there and had a great first half. They had the lead but Grace came out and tore them up in the second half and won by twenty or so.

Tiger2
Sounds like the first meeting! Gonna be a dog fight when the Tigers travel to Harriman Friday night! Alot at stake these next two weeks! It should be an interesting night. I hope our boys are ready to play. I started a thread to get Harriman fired up but I think after getting beat by Grace twice there a little depressed.
TFL
I doubt any team needs help getting fired up for us considering the way we dominated last year, and I am not sure that's a great thing!! We def have a big bullseye on us night in and night out!

I think a lot of people around the area look at us as a whole different and lesser team without Levi. I wish these kids would play with the emotion he played with. A couple of them got the talent but it seems like they lack the passion and heart to go out and lay it on the line. Lets hope there up for the challenge Friday. If you guys are Meigs guys, I don't think you'll have any problem with Harriman. They have a few good players but don't play much D and have no bench. I still can't understand how you guys lost to tellico twice though?

They just had our number but we were missing our PG to injury and our big man which is not really a big man was just returning from missing several games with an ankle injury and wasnt a 100 percent. The second game at home we had a 10 point lead in the third but you could tell we were still not healthy and they just wanted it more. I think we are coming together now and should be ready for Harriman. I am looking forward more to the Grace game next week at home. It was sad to see Shepard out for the game up at Grace and want to see the difference he will make when we play them at home.

They also had a guy who is averaging less than 10 a game somehow hit nine threes on us.
JoeDirt
They also had a guy who is averaging less than 10 a game somehow hit nine threes on us. The kid averaging less than 10 a game is wrong...you obviously don't know what you're talking about. He is averaging double figures along with 3 others. Beat Meigs @ home without Zy and beat Meigs @ Meigs with Zy...EVERYBODY was there and healthy...stop making excuses. They caught you all off guard early @ their place and made adjustments @ yours in the 2nd half and then flat out kicked your tails...bottom line. They match up well with Meigs. Stop making excuses...so and so hurt...so and so sick...c'mon man:) Good basketball team that has been up and down @ times. You all just keep overlooking them...I'm sure those boys like that. We'll find out who's who when it's tourney time...that's when it REALLY counts.
JoeDirt
By the way, the same kid that hit those 9 threes against you all...has lit Meigs up almost every time they have played over the past two years. Also, they have had 4 kids score 20+, 3 score 25+, and 2 score 30+...pick your poison on any given night. I would say good luck against Harriman, but I personally don't think you'll need it. If they press you and play man, you all SHOULD roll. Who knows though...they are high school kids.
gcapride
Harriman plays more like an AAU team or NBA type ball than HS ball. It's run and gun as fast as possible. No passing, no teamwork. Just go to the basket as fast as possible. As 'knox said, they have no bench. 23 thinks he's WAY better than he is. The best player on the team is Joe Joe Luna #5, great defender. I underestimated him when he came in because of his size. Wrong assessment. He's very good, congrats Joe Joe. Harriman brought in 2 AAU players this year as recruits. They play like it. In the HS game, there's Defense and Refs that call fouls.
