LEBANON -- Cumberland University football would like to invite 2015 seniors who have not yet made a college decision and are interested in playing collegiate football to a tryout 11 a.m. Saturday May 2, at Nokes-Lasater Field.

 

All players attending must have a minimum 2.5 overall grade-point-average and an 18 on the ACT, no exceptions. There is the possibility for athletic grant-in-aids, with additional money awarded to students with a 3.0 GPA and a 22 ACT.

 

All participants should bring cleats and gym shoes and dress for skill tests and drills.

 

Registration will begin at 11 a.m. at Nokes-Lasater Field, which is located at 418 Harding Drive, Lebanon, TN, 37087.

 

Players are encouraged to contact the football office if they plan to attend the workout. Questions and reservations should be directed to assistant coach Nathan Luce at 615-547-1347 or e-mail [email protected].

      South Gibson drags you to the deep end and makes you like it. Tough group that communicates and really seems to love competing.  Union City will be improved but don't know how they handle nights were Moss doesn't go off.  South Side is fast and athletic but I don't think they're as good as last year.  Westview girls will be better later in the season because they are depending on folks that haven't done it yet.  Westview may lose a district game but they'll be the 1 seed over UC.  South Gibson beats Dyersburg for that district. South Side runs Jackson again.
