Germantown Red Devils will have open tryouts Saturday August 8th and Sunday August 9th. We will also have a second weekend of tryouts August 15th and 16th with a very similar time schedule as listed below.  We will have 9 teams this year 8U,9U,10U,11U,12U,13U,14U,16U and 18U.  The 8U tryouts will be done at a different time but can also be set up individually as well.  

Tryouts will be held at Saint Benedict High School
8250 Varnavas Drive
Cordova,TN


Saturday August 9th
9U (2006) 8am -9:30am

10U(2005)9:30-11am

11U and 12U(2004-2003) 11am-1pm 

13u and 14U(2002-2001) 1pm -3pm

18U 3-5:30pm 

 


Sunday August 10th
12U(both teams)  11:30am-12:30am

14U 12:30am-2pm 

10U 2pm-3:30pm

Saturday August 15th

10U(2005)9:30-11am

11U and 12U(2004-2003) 11am-1pm 

13u and 14U(2002-2001) 1pm -3pm

16U 3-5:30pm Pre registration required.  Contact Coach Jack

 Sunday August 16th

16U 11:30am-3pm Pre registration required.  Contact Coach Jack

Any individual tryouts set up or overflow for all other ages will take place at 3pm on the 16th

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
