For whoever was saying that NCS didn't dominate the game... if 49-7 isn't dominating a game, I don't know what is. Someone said that if it wasn't for the punt return TD, the pick-6, and the last TD by a "starter" against JB's second team, then it was an even matchup. Can I please remind you that a punt return and a pick-6 is part of football. I don't know what kind of game you're playing in your head that told you it was close, but that game wasn't close. I agree, you continue to polish your turd all you want. We'll keep dropping them on you for years to come, or in the playoffs at Keeton Field if you're lucky enough. May I also remind you that the "starter" that got the last touchdown is the FOURTH RB on our depth chart. In fact, he was running behind our JV offensive line that has been plagued with injuries the last week. No excuses. Judge us for our depth if that makes your turd sparkle.

On a more lighthearted note, I'd like to inform a few people about our coach's position decisions. People are asking why NCS doesn't run the ball with Bituli with Lawless on the line. The answer is that we arguable don't need to. Someone was saying that Bituli wouldn't produce anyway. What makes you say that? I mean according to the mad dads of TN, he was recruited from BA right? He also had 1700 yards as a sophomore starter. Why don't we run him? Well he might be even more effective as a fullback, which he does play a bit of. Bituli blocking and McGraw's elusive speed. Dangerous. I'm sure you'll see Bituli get the ball more often when we absolutely need it in the post season.

I would also like to point out that the decisions that the players make on the field to not reflect the character of Coach Brothers or the coaching staff. Coach Brothers is the best role model that our school could ask for as a head football coach. As a member of the NCS family, I can agree that some of our players played dirty. I don't recall any helmets being thrown off, but I do remember a few instances of unnecessary roughness by some hot headed young players. Probably angry about the arguably biased officials (If you don't agree, watch the film). But that behavior is unacceptable. You should've heard what Coach Brothers had to say to some of them coming off the field, and I can very much assure you that the problem was addressed in the film session Saturday morning. Coach Brothers does not want the penalties or the reputation. That does not reflect Nashville Christian as a whole, and we do not justify it. We respect Jo Byrns as a rival and appreciate the opportunity to play yall every year.

As far as the NCS posters on here, I understand the lighthearted trash talk that we are spitting back at what seems like the whole state attacking us, but keep it classy.

How would you feel if the school you were zoned for gave up on homework? Just simply saying we can't expect everyone to do it so we won't grade it. I guess what I'm trying to tell you is Wayne County is a public school, but it certainly isn't like our Metro schools in Nashville. You may never understand the choices people make, and the severe sacrifice that comes along with them.

You are also a public program with a coach that has been dedicated to the long term success of the program. Going to a school where the coach changes every season or two is not very desirable.

If Wayne County was the public school our kids (NCS) were zoned for, many would likely attend. It's just not the same as what is offered around here. This really doesn't have much to do with football, just something to think about.

I have never said I blame anybody for wanting to better their kids situation, if I lived in nashville I wouldn't want my kid going to a metro school either. I have just been curious as to how many players come from other county's that have public schools such as Wayne County's. I don't have a problem playing private schools but I am one of those that think all private schools should have their own playoffs then all the recruiting talk and fighting would be over and done. Wasn't trying to ruffle feathers

Been keeping up all week. Good read. Appreciate the compliments. To the "Newbies" and "Johnny Come Lately's"...keep it rolling for twenty plus years. I like the way JB plays, UC's run the last few years speaks for itself, and no doubt NCS is legit., I love me some South Pitt.. but when it comes to this section of CoachT... It's like my old friend Waylon says...it don't matter who plays Austin, Bob Willis** is still the King.

Coach Adkins is as good of a play caller as there is in 1A. He gets more out of his players than arguably anyone in the state of Tennessee. There are a few NCS posters on here that do not represent the majority of fan base or the school at all. We totally respect what Jo Byrns represents and is about. Please don't listen to the few trash talkers we have. Our kids work extremely hard to accomplish what they have achieved, just like the red devils have. I know there will never be a true argument as to who is better between private and public as long as it stays the way it is. However, this is the system and we must abide by it for now. I hope we can get past the trash talking and honor these kids for their hard work, on both sides.

You quoted Waylon Jennings so you may very well be my new favorite poster on the T. God bless you my friend lol
