I BELEIVE THE COACHING RANKS IS LOSING ONE OF THE MANY LEGANDS OF HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL IN TENNESSEE. A MAN WHO WENT FROM THE BATTLE FIELDS OF VIATNAM TO TURNING A COPPER BASIN TEAM AROUND TO AVERAGING 7 WINS A YEAR SINCE 87' AND 10 STRAIGHT YEARS IN THE PLAYOFFS WITH THE MCMINN COUNTY CHEROKEES. HE WAS A GREAT TEACHER OF THE GAME AND GREAT MOTIVATOR. HIS PRE-GAME SPEACHES WOULD BRING TEARS TO YOUR EYES, COACH OR PLAYER. GOOD LUCK TO YOU AND FAMILY COACH IN WHATEVER YOU DO.

I agree, football4doc. I played for and coached with coach Mullinax. He is probably one of the last old school coaches around. He taught heart and toughness to his players. He took teams without alot of talent and made them believe in him and each other. He was a great motivator. Listen to one of his pregame speeches and you would do anything for the man.
