Bearden @ Jefferson County (Week 11)

Bearden travels to Dumplin Valley this week to take on the might Patriots.  Bearden is coming off of a big win vs. Science Hill and Jefferson County should be excited to play after a nice win against DB.  The parody in Region 1-6A is really nice to see.  Anyone from 2-7 can beat anyone on any given night.  I know there aren't a lot of Bearden or Jefferson County fans on coacht, so maybe others can give some insight on how they feel this game will go.

With it being senior nite at Leroy Shannon field the patriot seniors will be pumped and emotional starting this game. The bearden qb should have a big nite against a poor patriot secondary. Bulldogs 35-17

Ouch, that hurts.  Other than giving up a long touchdown to Maryville and one to HVA on a trick play, #17 has been pretty good so far this season.

I don't know about it being that lopsided. When comparing scores, these teams are very similar. Bearden has the advantage with Science Hill. JC with William Blount. After watching the JV game, these two teams are almost identical in X's and O's. Bearden will have to be ready and execute.

Nothing against #17 he is a fine player and definitely a fine young man. Its the entire secondary as a whole that is struggling with some doing better than others. I hope with Friday being senior nite the whole team plays well and finishes at 5-5 for the regular season.

It's all good. I know we've had some rough games this year. Hopefully, they can put it all together Friday night and finish the regular season at 5-5.

How is your son doing this year. You do know that he has a small group of us at Maryville pulling for him every week now and the other one that plays QB on the freshmen team also.

Coach Upton is one of my favorite coaches. I know the kids on the team really like him.
