All of the above. Gonna be very hard for jefferson county to turn that mess around. With lakeway academy only 10 minutes from jeff campus it will be very hard to keep any elite players from leaving

As far as I can tell the lack of talent is a huge problem for jeff right now. I've been around the program for over a decade now. This years team lacks playmakers everywhere. I really hate it for these kids some of them really work and play there butts off. 6a region 1 is a tough region if you ain't good at all aspects of the game you are gonna take some beatings. Unfortunately for the patriots they are already taking them. The next 3 against science hill anderson county and dobyns Bennett will probably be running clocks early in the 3rd quarter. It's hard to watch but it is what it is. Go Patriots

Great to see Rhea county come up and play jeff county. Morristown east had to cancel because of pandemic. Should be an easy win for rhea co. Patriots had a very good rushing attack against sevier county. Very elusive running back was fun to watch. Same ole problems for jeff county no passing game and horrible special teams. Patriots will need to put together a complete game to be in this one. Rumor is Patriots leading tackler will be out for this game with a head injury so that will make it even tougher

As of today the kids cant have contact practices for at least 5 weeks. Alot can happen and probably will to affect that.. We start school here in jefferson county in 2 weeks. We still get updates on our reopening process weekly. If cases keep climbing I'm sure that will affect schools opening. I guess the wait and see process is getting closer.

I usually dont post much on here but with the crazy mess going on in our country I couldn't resist any longer. Football is huge in our family. Both my sons played from 7 yr old all the way thru high school. My youngest is currently a senior running back and linebacker. Watching how hard these kids work in the off season just amazes me. He knows his football may be over anyday now. They are currently only conditioning and running plays but they also keep up with news and are watching everyday for something positive to happen. Something positive is something we all need to see because we just dont see it much anymore. Everything in life anymore seems to become political and it's getting old. As far as football goes I'm hopeful but I'm sure glad I'm not the one having to make that decision. School starts here in 2 weeks. My son will be on campus trying to get to some kind of normalcy if that's possible. If school goes well maybe sports will come back. Just praying that all goes well. Sorry for the long post.

Regardless of what happens on Friday all three teams are taking that long trip to Murfreesboro on Nov. 4th.

I too like red rebels rankings. 3-6 will be a dogfight. Patriots will need some big road wins to get a home playoff game.

Should be a heck of a game. Seen west play catholic they do have some weapons and their def. isn't as bad u think only holding Greeneville to 13 pts. Can't make a prediction for this one. A big play or 2 by either team in the 4th could be the difference.

Jeff Co. should win seeing that it is first home game of season. Jeff by 2 tds

I agree this years freshmen and jv should be very good. If all these players buy into what Riley is wanting out of them the future looks very good. Its all up to the players attitudes

Most 6A football programs should have the players to replace a graduating class. Jeff Co. is no different a lot of juniors played key roles last yr. Like I said earlier should be an interesting yr.

Jeff co. isn't in as bad of shape as you all think. Senior dominated team with tons of speed. Coach Riley really has these kids working very hard. Don't know if all the hard work will turn into wins but they for sure will compete and play their butts off. Should be an interesting yr.

Hey Milo after watching Jeff co. Play both science hill and Smyrna I can tell u it will be a great game. If I had to put my money on anybody it would be Smyrna mainly because of the physicality of Perkins running the ball. Anyways good luck Steve Spurrier field is very nice
