Coach, 


 


Hopefully you`ve had a chance to get some much needed R & R after the season!


 


We had a great 2014 Battlefield Duals and would like to keep it going. We will be hosting this year`s Duals Tournament on Dec 29, 2016. This is a day most of us would normally practice or be off and makes for a great stop off to get competition before the Southern Scuffle


 


Tournament will run on 6-8 mats to speed up & space out our teams as we anticipate another full 16 team tournament. Great diversified tournament with teams from AL, GA & TN!


 


Format: Pools then Bracket. Please let me know ASAP if you`d like to be added to the tournament as the spots fill up quick.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
