WARTBURG has a decent  ability to stop the run they struggle with their pass defense if they don’t find someone  this week coalfield will pass all over the field on them                          

The  next thing does coalfield talk people into bringing  their kids to coalfield Yes they do with that being said there is a lot of schools doing it from what I am being told Oakdale is the one that is the  maddest  but they have someone involved in AAU basketball that does their best to get players to go to Oakdale I think if you don’t like  what is going on then  step up and work harder to get your program in the same position do a like it  no  Do I think they are some things going on at Coalfield that is flat out wrong yes I do  Will not go into detail here but a couple years back I had I family member go to coalfield and yes they told everything No I will not tell about it  on this web site  but a lot of people know me so if you would like come talk to me one on one I will  tell anyone about it   do’s that mean its correct  who  knows but it is how I see it Bottom line Wartburg needs to work harder  I fill are middle school is in great hands the coaching staff there is instilling discipline hard work and pride and the administration is backing the 100 percent  now it is time for the high school to do the same Football is the hardest sport to build a program in it takes more money and work as a booster club parent I know this from keeping the field up bleachers etc. flat out there is more work involved in Football

Reading all of this is actually kind of amusing. Do l think Coalfield recruits? Who knows? Maybe. But I also believe that some of those kids want to play for a top notch team. Someone on here earlier said that Wartburg football has been a mess for 50 years? I can't agree, because I played on a Wartburg team that beat Coalfield three years in a row. Granted, that's been many years ago and Coalfield didn't have the program they do now. But I feel that the dogs are in another Larry Davis "slump" now that won't change until he's gone. I hear Wartburg has a good middle school program that's very well coached and I hear they have a kid that's a heck of a player and all this will bode well for the dogs future on the high school level(providing he doesn't go to Coalfield! Iol!) Anyway I look for Coalfield to roll over the dogs this week and yet again Larry Davis can be heard saying, " the effort wasn't there....I just don't understand...."

What's the kids name on middle school squad so we can start recruiting him. Lol

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
