The Rutherford County Play Day will be held Saturday March 4th. There is a 3 game guarantee with an 80 minute time limit. All games will be hosted on the pristine fields of District 7-AAA. All fields have tarps and are maintained by the coaches and staff. The availability of multiple fields ensures that we can meet most if not all schedule request regarding teams on the do not play list. If you are looking for a play date that offers you quality competition with a much higher probability to play in case of inclement weather, then this is the play date for you. 

Currently, we have 17 teams committed to play...check the tournament forum for teams that have committed. We are taking all comers there are no limits on number or teams, so please contact coach Sheppard at:

Games will be played at Oakland, Siegel, Blackman, Riverdale, and Stewarts Creek High Schools. (All Fields have tarps)

$5 entry fee with 12 and under free…access good at all three fields

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
