The Trojans have removed the interim tag from Alvin Sanders. Great choice in my opinion, he'll need a little patience but I think he'll be very successful when it's all said and done.

How much patience? We return a lot of our skill position players next year. Yeah we're moving up but I don't see any reason we can't compete all of a sudden

I'm just applying facts to this message board.

In regard to your evaluation of the skill players that is an opinion not a fact. I do think there was some factual statements made one being that your moving up to 6A the other statements were merely opinions. Give the man a chance to do his job and lets not turn into a delusional fan base. The schedule will be tough no question, and if he and his staff can go 4-6 I think he over achieved in my "opinion".

You think 4-6 is overachieving with what we have returning next year? Well you're obviously one of the delusional ones.

4-6 is a little gloom and doom in my opinion. I think the absolute floor for next year's team is 5-5 but I think 6-4 or 7-3 is a pretty realistic goal. But East and Jefferson County are probably the only games I'll be %100 confident going into. Farragut is coming off a state championship, Bearden and Science Hill always have athletes and D-B is probably the most consistently good team in the conference even if they've been down for a few years. So every week in this new conference is going to be a battle, which is why I think Coach Sanders deserves a bit of patience the first year or 2.

I do agree that he deserves a chance. But yes there's no reason to expect a losing season next year with what we have back even if we are moving up. West should be at least competitive in just about every game they play if they don't win

    • This whole situation is bonkers. You don’t just kick your star player off the team just because you heard them say the F word; the coach definitely had something against the player, or somebody definitely did. Also, nobody has brought up the idea that the school blackmailed the college to get the college to withdraw the scholarship offer, not to mention that the coach who kicked her off is no longer even with the program; they were fired. I think this is a pretty easy lawsuit. I don’t know if she should deserve that much money, but I think she should get enough money for a full-ride scholarship if she cannot get one after this situation.
    • Oh yeah, I’m sure you are different people just always on the same thread for some reason, always agreeing with each other, perhaps just a bunch of dorks who would like to ###### and moan about high school football coaches do a lot of other students, so you make a football team and get a yell at them. When they do something wrong, but I’m sure you don’t like that, do you?   and I’m sure I’m aware of where you get information. A teacher who was on the coaching staff but was fired after the new coaching and staff came in and realized he actually had to start taking his assistant job a little bit more seriously than just wanting to make a little extra cash on the side, hardly even showing up to most practices, should’ve left with his buddy to go to Farragut. I’m sure he could get him a defensive coaching job, but I doubt he will be there in three years. Looking at the way Farragut is currently going.
    • It may be hard to believe but there’s more people than me that think you guys are a bunch of losers.    I’m sure the coaching staff, yourself included, cursed at a bunch of high school students. Nobody could name more than 3 coaches on staff due to the constant turnover.
    • That's complete BS.  Nobody at ACHS has access to CHS student records unless a transfer is made from CHS to ACHS.
    • Trez's last scandal has died down, so I guess this is there opportunity to be the best 4A team playing in 2A a la Sissy MTN.  At least they won't be in a Z-district with 1a teams in the regular season.
