Good to see that teamwork still beats individualism.

 

Stratford's young bucks, lead by the incredible Henry Harris, totally dismantled a talented, yet selfish, Glencliff squad.

 

Watching Jamont Gordon come down time after time and jack 35-foot bricks is disgusting. Did they ever run an offensive play?

otis, i assume you were there. the tennessean website has the score the other way around. i guess it is wrong. but it does sound like the stratford team that i saw. henry harris is very good at creating shots for himself as well as his teammates. jamont may want to take notes.

What a performance by Henry Harris and the young but talented spartians. This game should have showed everyone that Glencliff is young but there were to many intangbles that Stradford exposed of them. Good job spartains with the great HH.

Whites Creek looked pretty solid, like normal. They miss Collins, of course, but will be good by tournament time. Pearl-Cohn looked pretty good as well, staying close and playing good ball throughout the game. Stratford vs. Whites Creek tomorrow could be a fun one to watch.

 

Note: why only one twin (Menzies) saw action. Both are super talented and I hope to see them in action together soon.

only one will play this year. the other will sit out due to grades. it is sad. i hate to see that but hey they have to take care of business on and off the court.

If a kid passes this semester, isn't he eligible after Christmas (2nd semester)?

yeah i asked the same thing. its actually the reverse. from what i hear, he is doing so bad in his classes right now he will not be eligible next semester. so i guess nollner felt it was no need for him to dress this semester knowing he would be lost next semester.

is stratford supposed to be good this year? Franklin scrimmaged them about a week ago and beat them. Franklin didnt even have their football players (josh refegee, kevin murray) and started 3 sophmores. i wasnt impressed with stratford (except for #44) but it may have just been a bad game. lemme know how they are supposed to be this year.
