In anticipation of your first question here is a short conversation I had earlier today:

How does Powell rate as #1 in 5A, when Central won the state championship?
 
CoachT.com: Knox Central is the state champ, period. Proved it on the field. Over the whole season Powell ranks higher. Just proves how well Knox Central played in playoffs. For me to arbitrarily change the rankings with my personal feelings would invalidate the whole season.
