Rising 13u team looking for players

We have a competitive 13u team out of Franklin, TN looking to finalize its roster. This team is coached by paid coaches (none of which have kids on the team) brought in to develop players as they transition to the big fields. All positions are open but pitching and catcher experience are a plus.

If you wish to have an opportunity to try out for a team where you know dads are not involved in any of the decisions around positions or playing time please text me at 615-881-6313.

Here is a little background on the head coach:

Sean Vinett grew up in Nashville, attending Father Ryan High School where he was a 3 sport athlete and was All-State in football and baseball. 

He received several offers in football and baseball before accepting a full baseball scholarship to pitch for Walters State where he won a Junior College National Championship prior to transferring to Ole Miss to finish out his college career.

      TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.

      stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
