Ref shortage?

Seems to be a problem in Knoxville Region. Anyone know what's going on? Is it an issue outside of Knoxville area?

There is a referee shortage throughout the state.  Some officials have decided to stay away due to Covid-19, but some are tired of being berated as well.  We could be in some serious trouble if things do not change soon.

This is the correct answer. Refs in all sports are over it and going to the house. There has been some high school baseball games that have had one umpire the last couple of years. Expect that to grow.
