The Teammates Nashville Youth Baseball Camp hosted by Steven Wright is a free fundamental instruction baseball clinic serving under-resourced boys and girls in grades 6-8 made possible through the generosity of the Teammates for Kids Foundation.

We have an urgent need for four more coaches.

Camp is on 4/15/2022 (please note this is a Friday, so double check your schedule) from 12:00pm-3:00pm (11am staff meeting) at John Early Magnet Middle School (1000 Cass St, Nashville, TN 37208).

Anyone interested in coaching should send the following information to Jason Adkins at jadkins@g3marketing.com or 513-374-0311:

1.    first and last name

2.    where and what level they most recently coached/played

3.    cell number

4.    preferred email address

5.    shirt size

Please note that camp is at capacity and registration is closed.

I want to bump this back up to the top of this forum.

We have an urgent need for 4 more coaches or former players to help us make the Teammates Nashville Youth Baseball Camp a great experience for the kids at John Early Magnet MS.

Camp is next Friday at John Early Magnet MS from noon - 3pm (11am staff meeting).  Coaches receive a $75 check at the end of camp.

This is a basic introduction to baseball fundamentals designed for boys and girls who have never had a chance to play or attend a camp before.

Steven Wright will be out working with the kids and I guarantee staff will enjoy themselves as much as the campers will.

If you read this and want to support Garth Brooks' Teammates for Kids Foundation in serving the boys and girls who will attend, please consider sharing this with your network of good baseball/softball people.

Anyone interested should send their name, email, cell number, shirt size, and baseball/softball experience to Jason Adkins at-- jadkins@g3marketing.com or 513-374-0311.

    • Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!
    • I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
