When they get a run of academically minded athletes they have success. When they do not, there are lean years. Both schools past history shows this to be true. Hume Fogg has had great years in basketball and VERY lean years. MLK also. It applies to all their sports. The thing that separates them is their kids typically have more self-discipline and work ethic.
