I wanted to get out one more set of DII rankings before the regional tournaments this weekend.  This should be updated with everything through the state duals over the weekend.

I am sure we will see some weight changes, etc. as we get into the regionals this weekend.  I may try and put out one more set before the state tournament hits.

Previous reply had a question about 195 mentioning Demorest having beaten Woodard.  I wanted to shed a little more insight on this weight and the rankings there.

There is a bit of a 3-way issue in head-to-head with the following:

1) Demorest over Woodard

2) Woodard over Gentle

3) Gentle over Demorest

So I am giving Woodard the edge out of this group given that he and Demorest were both 5th last year but Woodard was at the heavier weight.  That said, I expect Demorest to be seeded ahead of Woodard at the West Region since matches with Gentle won't come into play there.

In my opinion, this is one of the most wide open weights we have in DII.  Trainer has definitely earned the #1 spot but beyond that it is very interesting.  You have a returning 4th place medalist at this weight (Brunet, FR) who isn't in the rankings right now.

Both region tournaments should be really interesting at this weight.
