He is strictly a lefty pitcher. An early signee with David Lipscomb Unv. in Nashville. Should add to the depth of Riverdale's already strong pitching. Kyle Smith, a righty, early signee with Western Ky. Unv. in Bowling Green, Ky. Justin Humphrey, strong lefty, ; Will Underland, righty and Casey Fones, a side arm righty.

Why choose Riverdale?! Here are just a few reason why anyone moving into, or for that fact already in the Murfreesboro area, would choose Riverdale!

1.Won 59 games the last two seasons.

2.2001-2002 District Champs.

3.2001 Tournament Champs, 2002 Tournament Runner-up

4.2002 State Ranking #2: 2002 National Rankings of #19,#42,#45

5.Over 90 wins the past three summers

6.Average of three college scholarships signed per year.

7.National Exposure in Top notch Tournaments that include the USA Classic, The Warrior Spring Classic, and The Sports Belle Classic along with the Smyrna tournament.

8.National exposure by many media outlets including state wide newspapers, national publications and two nationally recognized websites dedicated solely to the promotion of Riverdale Baseball.

9. Top notch facilities that include new indoor facility, new press box/concession stand, new modern block wall back stop, one of the best playing surfaces in the mid-state and coming soon a modern dressing facility.

10.A dedicated Boooster Club who works endless hours to make sure that Riverdale has the best of everything.

11.And last but not least a team that returns all but three starters off the 2002 team that includes their top three pitchers in Western Kentucky signee Kyle Smith, Division 1 prospect Justin Humphrey to go along with upcoming sophmore Will Underland.

The program speaks for itself!! ;)

Yeah, that's the key word alright, blow.....Riverdale will blow right by Oakland all the way to the District Champ7AAA for the third year in a row. You're right in saying you "hope" Oakland can kick Riverdale's butt because that's all it will be a faint, weak, desperate hope ! As for mudcat...he just likes to stir it up still angry about Warren County unable to stop the Warriors. :D;);)

Why did OHS not get Alabama lefty??? Well for all you curious and jealous OHS fans I will give you a few reasons why you were not even a choice of the Ala transfer. First of all OHS past two seasons have been very disappointing and have lacked any production. Second of all every one is starting to second guess Hawks and his skills. The only player with any talent the past 2 years has been Slayden who was a great player in high school and is having much success in college. OHS needs to stink up there pride because they will never again have a power house team like they had in 99' and 00'. RHS on the other hand has had two of the best teams in school history in the past two years and this year has a chance at winning a state title and now with the addition of another good pitcher, their chances have gotten even better. So OHS just keep complaining like you have the past 2 years cause everyone thinks it is very funny. ;)
