Here is today's schedule for the Lange Memorial Girls Basketball tournament at Farragut High School:

 

4:30 Oliver Springs vs. Coffee Co.

6:00 Livingston Academy vs. Grundy Co.

7:30 Farragut vs. Sullivan East

9:00 Cookeville vs. Cannon Co.

 

The tournament is an annual affair to raise money for the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation and will continue on Saturday and Sunday afternoon.

Dang, that is one star-studded field this weekend at Farragut. This thing is wide-open depending on who gets hot or who is hot at the right time. It looks like any of the 8 teams could compete for the championship on Sunday afternoon.

Coffee Co. over Oliver Springs 83-75

O.S. was led by Hall with 24. Coffee Co. was led by Benjamin with 31 and Buchanan with 22

 

Livingston Academy over Grundy Co. 66-44

Livingston was led by Cates with 14. Grundy was led by Ladd with 12.

 

Farragut over Sullivan East 67-27

Farragut was led by Raby with 16, A. Munday with 16, and N. Munday with 14. Sullivan was led by Perry with 9.

 

Cookeville over Cannon Co.

Cookeville was led by Reed with 29 and Cannon Co. was led by Nichols with 20.

Sullivan East beat Grundy Co.

Oliver Springs beat Cannon Co.

Cookeville beat Coffee Co.

Farragut beat Livingston Academy in OVERTIME.

 

Livingston was down by 21 at half and came back to out score Farragut 43-22 in the second half.

 

Not for sure about the score in the first three games but the Farragut and Livingston Academy score was 73-67.
