GT
Why is Shebyville not in the top five. They have played the hardest schedule of any team in the state. Why is Jackson Co and Livingston not in the top five.I think Jackson Co has played more AAA teams than AA.Other than Oakridge the rest of the top have played nobody.Walker Valley, Westview,Mcminn Central and Alcoa have played a weak schedule. Well it does not matter because the game is still played on the floor and polls do not count only scores do.
CoachT
The Strength and Success rankings take into account only the team's records and their opponent's records and then calculates how you did against those teams. The reason that some of the best teams are not ranked is that some of their biggest wins came against out-of-state teams which we have no way to calculate. Shelbyville, for example, would be in the top two in just about anyone's personal poll, deservedly so. However, without counting their wins against out-of-state teams, they have played 6 Tennessee teams with winning records, one that is even, and three that have a combined 13-20 record. By the time the regular season winds down they will most likely be near the top. http://www.coacht.com/rankings/sos.cfm?SportID=
chargerchick
Somebody needs to do their homework...McMinn Central has played Faragut, Austin East, Walker Valley, Tellico, McMinn County, and they just got back from Georgia, the deep south, where all they played was 5 A schools, and they even got beat by one. Central has had a tough schedule, and they will soon play Oliver Springs and Cleveland. I think you are wrong by saying that McMinn Central has had a weak schedule.
