McMinn Cherokees

McMinn played Bradley a very close game the other night. The game could have gone in anyones way the fourth quarter. I predict that before the season is over McMinn will be the surprise team. No doubt Juan was just as good as Pickel and Hare on the court but he doesn't seem to get the respect and coverage that they do. Look for the Juan show and McMinn to be upset minded going into Febuary.

sportsphan, This is what I've heard from those who were at the game. Juan is a very good player. You even mention "the Juan show" in your post. You see that's the problem. As good as Juan may be basketball is a team sport and unless it becomes "the Cherokees show" they will lose to good teams. Juan may be good enough to take over a game against lesser teams but against good teams like Bradley, Cleveland and Rhea Co. he'll have a tough time beating them by himself. They still may surpise people if they come together as a team. Oh yeah, the reason Pickel and Hare get the press is because they are both good players and their TEAM is winning.

the outstanding player from mcminn county, as spelled throughout this website, juan, is actually spelled jajuan. I have read many post and continually see his name misspelled and would just like to let everyone know how it is really spelled.
