I know this will get some replies but I think Coach Slatten from White Co. gets absoulutly no respect. He is a good coach with a good team that just lacks the experience needed in his team. I think the White county team will have some things to show some people next year.......GO WARRIORS

I will agree with you warriorettemom slatten is a heckuva coach anyone has seen this team play has to be realistic in the talent they have as well as their youth(no seniors). Last night I came to see the Cookeville game and once again they had a chance to beat a more talented, more athletic and bigger team. He is without question getting the most out of this team. ;):D

What about very small town coach Coach Michael Owens from Red Boiling Springs? He is in his 3rd year as the Bulldogs' coach and he coached a sub-state team from Celina his first year of coaching. He is a younger coach and he has brought the Bulldogs from zero to hero. They are 17-3 so far this year and 6-0 in a district which includes Pickett County and Celina. They are one of the best teams around the Upper Cumberland area in A competition and they are 11th in the AP poll, if you count the total points they have received. They are on their way to their first 20 win season in over 30 years. Give Coach Owens major credit.

I tell you what, Glenn Tackett has done an awesome job at FRA. He has turned there club into a 15-3 record and 3-1 in the district. Two years ago they were horrible and now this year they are taking care of business. Ya they won 20-17 and 26-24 against DCA and CPA but a win is a win and their defense had done an excellent job. Good Job coach
