Clarksville is out to make state this year. They are back and better than ever with their 5 senior and 1 junior top 6 seeds. This team has got the experience now that it takes to stay unified through district and regionals this year. The seeds are hard to determine so far, I believe that any one of these top six has the chance to make the number 1 spot on the team. There is no question that their talent far exeeds the other teams. Its only going to come down to who has the most heart and endurence. Give me your views on Clarksville's Varsity player rankings and on the District rankings.

i am willing to show it on the court anytime, but the people that think they have a chance at the number 1 spot will never accept the challenge... they "just want to practice" whenever your ready , nick... i want to end this as soon as possible and im hoping when i beat you that you will give up this idea that this is YOUR team.

you may be good,but with your cocky attitude,your nothing.If your not careful what you say,well,lets just say you could get whats coming to you.Got a friend who thought he was the best thing ever and tore his acl,so think before you speak and be responsible for your actons.Prove yourself on the court where it counts.

clarksville high varsity seeding tournaments are done.

top seed - Kris Reeves

2nd - Luke Martin

3rd - Nick Pitts

4th - Parker Goolsby

5th - Tom Kim

6th - Matt Edmundson.

 

In tennis, a cocky attitude helps you win games. tennis is 90% mental and if you ever get down on yourself, your gonna make mistakes. its all about the game.

      Sorry Barn. I wasn’t specific enough. It seems I’m always protecting the principal at 825. My interactions with her have been extremely positive, but very limited. With all the other stories being told, I’m confident there are other sides I am not aware of. Regardless, there are lots of decent people earning good checks up there. Maybe too good, which explains why no one is willing to speak up. My beef is with the poor communication among the athletic programs and with the administration. Seven years ago the poor communication led to my son missing graduation due to a sporting event that was planned months before. I chalked it up to the system being totally shocked that the baseball team made it out of their district, and our then AD was a football coach. Maybe they were surprised and did not plan appropriately. That was more palatable than they just didn’t give a crap. Déjà vu, seven years later, same thing. Different administration, but same result.  Maybe in seven more years, it will actually be “about the kids”. They should do better.
