What happened to the thread that was on this site all summer telling us how Clinton was going to beat Oak Ridge this season? Clinton was in the district finals a year ago and they will be lucky to make it to the semi finals this year. What happned? They don't seem to be getting any better. Don't tell me, Oak Ridge took all of their players. They aren't coached well. That's why they lose players to other programs. Bring back Frag and they might get better. Next Week Clinton packs up their gear for next season. Player development doesn't happen at Clinton, no tournaments, no reason to play there. Clinton girls come over to Oak Ridge where you might have a chance to get better.

I have seen them play on more thav one occasion, plus thet are in our district, so we get them twice. They are so one dimensional, if Rodd or Brown aren't both on the game is over. I don't think Keegan made that much of a difference either way. When you are losing things go down hill in a hurry. I watched them play Powell the other night, and Powell did what they wanted any time they wanted, and Powell isn't world beaters by any means. You are right, they rely way to much on the outside shot, Plus I feel people last year were kind of taken by suprise by them, and this year they knew what to expect.

Clinton fans are the undisputed fans of one thing . . . talking trash. Their fans made bold predicitions about the boys and girls, but both are out in the first round of the region.

When things don't work out as predicted (which is always) the Clinton fans start to work at the other thing they are good at . . . finger pointing. Coaches, refs, transfers, it has to be somebody other than the players they have, because they are world beaters.

Get a clue! The coaches at Clinton are bad, but there is not a lot of talent on these teams.

    • Wow I haven't been keeping up with softball had no idea.Been keeping up with baseball and we are slowly fading there.I will check it out!!Thx
    • It is what it is. Sorry DFL.
    • One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.
    • It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.
    • Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.
