Even though I may 'crack' on Clinch every now and then, Clinch and Coach Mike Noel has nothing but respect from me. Heck, if I had a vote in the whole deal, I would vote for him as coach of the year. The percentage of kids he get out to play sports is outstanding. Clinch is unique, and it should not be combined with HC. I have a feeling some time in the near future, if they work hard enough Clinch may make it to the regionals. I'm pulling for them.

I wish that hancock county would hire tony seal back if that is what they want.. seems as though everyone thinks that Mr. seal would have been the savior of this season, well I guess we will never know because he quit.... that's right he wasn't forced out and no one wanted his job but he out and out quit... If there is as little talent now at hancock as everyone says then he will not be back either because there are no stars to work with.... I suppose time will tell what hancock county does???? Oh by the way good luck to the Cosby eagles at the state tourney!!!

Cosby played excillant even with Mark sitting most of the second and fourth quarter. I was a little worried when mark fouled out but cosby never gave up and sent hancock back home. Pay back was nice for cosby but now they have to worry about boro. Good luck Cosby.

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
