Rhea County goes 3-0 and for the 2nd week in a row finishes with the best record in their tournaments. They beat oliver springs 7-1, knox powell 7-0, and rockwood 4-2. They're going in to their season openers Wednesday at Meigs and Thursday at Baylor on a roll. They've been playing very solid on defense and their bats are starting to come alive. They're looking great. It's gonna be a great year in Rhea

Rhea county has a talanted team and a heart to go with it. They just hit the ball where Rockwood wasn't. Their pitcher didn't throw overly hard or have amazing breaking stuff, but he hit his locations well.
