The Upcoming Week for Franklin

Franklin has a very busy week only taking Wednesday off. They host Smryna on Monday and Hillwood on Tuesday. On Thursday they travel to take on the "best team in the state" otherwise known as Centennial and then on Friday they head down the road to Blackman. After a preseason that included only one 5 or 6 inning game, it's hard to get a grasp on how the Rebels will be. Their 100 inning marathon game yesterday and today showed me that they have a lot to work on defensively and that they can hit off a machine well. So pretty much, it showed me nothing. Well all I know is that we have played 7 preseason games and won them all so I hope you guys are good and ready come thursday. Did you know we beat BGA 19-3? Well now you do I hope you are ready.

Well aren't you just special and that you were lucky enough to get in some games here in the preseason but 19-3 in the preseason means nothing, I'm sorry. None of that matters starting tomorrow so I don't wanna hear it. My Rebs will be ready for you, I'm sure. But I don't care about Thursday yet, they've got two games before then. GO REBELS!

HAHAHA! No, I don't play, but I'm not a waterboy either, nice try though. I'm just a huge fan of the sport and of my Rebels.

Well, I guess I have to say I am glad that I wasn't there tonight. From what I've heard, our pitchers just didn't have it tonight. I'm hoping maybe it was just Opening Day jitters but 16-6 is quite extreme for that. Well, they get a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow vs Hillwood, a game I won't be able to come to either. Go Rebs!
