The Upcoming Week for Franklin

Franklin has a very busy week only taking Wednesday off. They host Smryna on Monday and Hillwood on Tuesday. On Thursday they travel to take on the "best team in the state" otherwise known as Centennial and then on Friday they head down the road to Blackman. After a preseason that included only one 5 or 6 inning game, it's hard to get a grasp on how the Rebels will be. Their 100 inning marathon game yesterday and today showed me that they have a lot to work on defensively and that they can hit off a machine well. So pretty much, it showed me nothing. Good luck to the Rebs this week!

Well aren't you just special and that you were lucky enough to get in some games here in the preseason but 19-3 in the preseason means nothing, I'm sorry. None of that matters starting tomorrow so I don't wanna hear it. My Rebs will be ready for you, I'm sure. But I don't care about Thursday yet, they've got two games before then. GO REBELS!

Well, I guess I have to say I am glad that I wasn't there tonight. From what I've heard, our pitchers just didn't have it tonight. I'm hoping maybe it was just Opening Day jitters but 16-6 is quite extreme for that. Well, they get a chance to redeem themselves tomorrow vs Hillwood, a game I won't be able to come to either. Go Rebs!

    • You wanna talk about zoned for Bearden.  Lol.  I don't think so.
    • Great win for the Pirates. State Tourney bound !
    • You're talking about the running back, right? I don’t believe he was zoned for west, but there were numerous players that came from TKA a few years ago and still are. I’m sure some are, but the majority aren’t.
    • Gratitude abounds for Blake Satterfield, whose five-year tenure as the head coach and exemplary ambassador for Trousdale County and its educational system has left an indelible mark. His strategic leadership during playoff seasons was nothing short of remarkable. Anticipating that his future endeavors will be equally impressive.  Perhaps the board members will refrain from undermining the incoming coach as they did in Blake's case.
    • Yeah that's true, I was talking more about football.  If you go to a TKA game, there's nobody there.  The only people there are the parents of cheer and parents of players.    The kid that left and came to West was zoned for West and decided to quit private and go public school.  He won two state championships at West, so hard to blame him there.
