What do you guys think about Nick Rivers playing both football and basketball in college at ETSU. Not to mention the fact that they lost to Wake Forest in the NCAA tournament by just 2 points.

Nick Rivers can do anything he puts his mind to if he puts forth the effort. Great football and basketball player.

Nick can play at any level he wants to in basketball - Most associate him with football and yes he did recieve a scholarship from ETSU in football but what an exceptional basketball player he is. He is an inside/outside threat. He shoots the three as well as anyone and can post up as good as a 6'10". He has a complete game but not much recognition. In the district tournament he scored his 1,500 pt and did not play varsity his freshman year. Great head for the game with or without the ball and yes i believe he definitely would make an asset to ETSU's team

What high school did he play at? is it in East TN?

hixson high school in hixson tn its in the chattanooga area

Nick averaged more than 18 points a game in three years of varsity play, 11 rebounds, 4 assists, 7 steals, and 5 blocked shots per game. He scored over 1500 career points in three years of varsity play. In the past few years, Hixson hasn't been well known for basketball but the program is definitely on the uprise. Three years ago they just had 9 wins, last year just 19 wins, but this year they had 28 wins and lost in the region semifinals by 2.

i know for a fact that you just made up those statistics, b/c the leaders in steals in the chattanooga area were just over 6 assists a game, and he wasn't anywhere on the last, and 5 blocks a game seems rather high too, but i'm not sure

mnewabller21. Nicks stats were not completed until after the season and these are career stats not this seasons stats so when you have some comment, just shut your face. Unless you seen or knew how the kid played, you don't know nothing so again, you need to keep your trap shut.
