knox central is loaded with freshman , three start on varsity. several very good athletes are not playing this year, because the football team needs their attention on the football championship we plan on winning for the next three years.

Tanner Moore from McCallie.He starts on varsity,and for good reason.

Tee Blevins from Unaka is an outstanding pitcher!! He is has allowed only 2 ER in 14 IP against Tennessee High and David Crockett.

 

Outstanding work ethic and plays 3B and C when not pitching. With Tee and Soph. Randy Swearingen Single "A" opponents should watch out! The State Tournament is by no means out of the question for this TEAM!

Loveday from McMinn Central. He has always been able to hit the long ball and hit for average, just keeps getting bigger and stronger, pitches a little also.

He's been discussed elsewhere on this board, but Tony Delmonico of Farragut has to be listed among the top freshmen in E.T. He's starting at SS for one of the top AAA teams in the state. I don't know him personally, but it appears he's earning the position on his own merits. Being Rod Delmonico's son, he has had the benefit of getting top-flight instruction and development. It would be easy to say he's starting because of who his dad is. However, he's obviously worked hard to develop his skills. I've seen him hit the ball around 400 feet. His 15-under summer team defeated one of the better 16-under teams in the Knox area last year.

i agree about tony d. he has a lot of talent. not trying to be pickey, tony is not a true freshman. actually, he's suppose to be a soph.. a little too cocky for me, but he is a good ballplayer.

Kyle Adams is one of the best freshmen you'll see this year he is a really good pitcher and this year so far I think he has hit three if not more homeruns which I think is awesome so just keep watching because you will see great things from him.
