whscap05
I dont see how the leading scorer of the state tourney in all classes gets voted on to the 2nd team. What a rip off.
SCHSFan
Congrats to all girls selected---especially to Ashleigh Newman and Alex Fuller of Shelbyville!
Guest bigdandspecialk
I agree, but who ever voted for Miss Basketball must have not voted for All State. But, at least Kendall made one of the teams. She could have not been voted at all, then what would that have told her.
workout
Or who ever voted for All-State didn't vote for Miss Basketball. [Edited by workout on 3-28-03 12:35P]

MrBlack
I think the all state teams should be changed. I think they should have A, AA,and AAA all state teams. And they should have ten players to make first team. Why not?
gomabsilk
Before i start, I would like to say the AP Sports Writers/media, do not offer any scholarships so for those who made it, congratulations(esp. Fuller and Newman). For those who didnt(see my comment about the media/Sports Writers. I dont understand why they combine all the classes for these all-state teams. I dont want everyone mad at me when I say this...but the levels of competition differ in each class. I am not saying which is higher and which is lower. But think about it, there is not one state champion. There is 4. So there should be 4 All-State teams. Just my opinion, and good message board conversation. WannaBLikeBeech
Who got honorable mention? I haven't seen it anywhere. And personally, I think Cavin and Beechboard are both better than Hall but they were both on the 2nd team and Hall was on the 1st. It really doesn't make sense to me. But, a lot of things don't....Congrats Beech on making 2nd team!
OS91
You are entitled to your opinion WannaBlikeBeech, but it seems like a panel of sportswriters from across the state disagree with you.
WannaBLikeBeech
Yes, I realize they disagree with me. A lot of people do...I can't understand why though.
