I agree...if Bearden doesn't come with a little more passion, I'd put Farragut up 3-0 or 4-0...

Listen, the Bulldogs will be ready to play on Saturday night. They will definitely be able to get up for a state championship game. Farragut has never played in a state championship and does not know the atmosphere involved. Bearden also won last week in the Region finals to get inside Farragut's head. These two teams are equally matched, but Bearden will win on experience, coaching, and the play of the seniors(Herby, Vic, D-Rad, Spahr, Britton, Bobby). Bearden wins 3-2 in a thriller to capture state championship #3.

Farragut 4 - Bearden 1. Farragut has too much offense. Bearden's defense is strong against every team but Farragut. The region final game was an aberration.

Both teams have tremendous offenses. I agree that Bearden must come out with more intensity than they did against Columbia. They didnt score until the 35th minute. This is also a tribute to columbia's defense. Once Bearden got rolling they finished real well, even though columbia played alot of subs the second half. Farragut seems to be a little more physical whereas Bearden plays a calmer style. I watched Farragut destroy McMinn Co. but in the first half it seemed McMinn had alot of good oppurtunities against Farraguts defense. The second half was a joke, because McMinn's defense totally gave up. I give Farragut the advantage on offense and Bearden the advantage on defense. Bearden 3-2. Just wish I could have stayed in Memphis a couple more days to watch this game. Both teams are on a level above the rest. Alot of underdogs came to Memphis this week and with Brentwood, Hendersonville and Clarksville eliminated Bearden and Farragut were definitely the final two. Good luck to both, you guys deserve to be where you are. One more thing. The unique thing about this match up is that both teams know the other teams style to perfection. So perhaps the team that can change things up just a little might come out on top.
