The Brentwood Blues won 2 games in pool play today. Defeated the Alton Illinois lambs 8-0 and the Minnesota Blizzard 6-0. Ashley McCool and Natalie Brock hit home runs in the first game. Pool play is only 2 games because of the # of teams represented. The Blues play against the Waco Texas Regulators tomorrow in lst round action. Good luck Blues.

The Brentwood Blues lost 2 games today. The first game was a 1-0 defeat to Cal Breeze VanMeter from California. Megan Rhodes pitched a 1 hitter. The first batter of the game for Cal Breeze blooped a double down the right field line. The runner stole 3rd and the ball was kicked into the dugout for the only run of the game.

They lost to Fort Worth Texas 1-0 in the losers bracket. I have no details. The Blues had a good run and represented Nashville well.

Several other teams from Nashville are in Nationals from young to old. It would be nice to hear about them.
