I was able to attend the Hendersonville Classic this evening.

 

Franklin 4 St Benidict 1

Hendersonville 2 Bearden 0

 

Goals for Hendersonville were scored by Meredith Brandt and Andrea Stefek. It was 0-0 at the end of the first half. First goal was scored by Brandt midway through the second, with a beautiful upper 90 strike, with the assist by Stefek. Stefek scored with 10 min left on a breakaway. Sorry, i dont have details on the Franklin game. I came late to that one, but i heard they had 3 unanswered goals. Tomorrows matchups, i believe, will be:

Hendersonville-St. Benedict

Hendersonville defeated St, Benedict 5-1 this afternoon. Franklin an Bearden were about to start when i had to leave.

Franklin vs. Bearden :

6-0 golas scored for franklin by, leslie lopez(3), Anna Perrigan (1), Gabby Mayer (1), and Halie Proffitt(1)

 

Leslie Lopez also got offensive mvp, and a girl from hendersonville sarah brandt i think?? one of the brant's got defensive mvp CONGRATS

Sunday afternoon (Sept 7) Hendersonville won 5-1 over St Benedict. (Franklin won by that same score over St. Benedict, but that was Sat night).
