1A State Championship will be between Boyd and who

So, a little public school from Beautiful Roan Mountain works like crazy, and with eight sophomores starting, they get handled in the 2001 Finals.  And last year as Juniors they lose in the Semi Finals; certainly deserving of much better than the immature assault their catching here. 

 

Incidentally, none of their players have had anything negative to say to any of you.

Tlhat bunch of "hicks" so many of you refer to have more class than to do so.

 

They're better this year.  They are a tremendous bunch of very hard working guys that deserve so much better than all this trash talk.

I have the schedule for the 2001 playoffs and it shows 6 starters on both sides of the ball that came off somthing like a 11-1 season the year before. The only sophomore that started was Byrd and a couple of others played some. The sophomore team for that year was SP. There ain't no use getting on here and telling stuff thats not so. The team that lost to Ezell was no sophomore team and you know it. It was a senior team with a few juniors throwed in. It was a better team than this years and you know that also.

In the 2001 semifianl, lets not forget the frozen cow pasture that negated a couple of big Pirate runs...admitted to by Cloudland's coach after the game that the weather equalized the speed of the game.

Why dont' you just wait for the playoffs? Cloudland would most likely tear apart S-P. And Greenback???? Last, year, North Greene almost beat a better Greenback team in the first round. Now Boyd, that would be a fairly close game.

i don't think all that arguing is really going to matter because the winner between CPA and DCA is going to win the state title.
