Region 6 A-AA boys race tomorrow should be interesting.

 

Last week's Metro championship showed that this year's regional qualifier should be a real battle between Lipscomb and FRA. The teams tied at Metro with Lipscomb winning the tie-breaker. Metro was run at Steeplechase, the same format for tomorrow's regional race.

 

FRA's dominance over the past several years has dissappeared as Lipscomb has beat FRA, albeit narrowly, in both the District and Metro races this year.

 

While both teams have good runners, each team has only one runner who has run sub 17 minutes. Victory will be decided by the relative performances of the 2nd-5th place runners.

 

Although not favored, MLK or CPA could pull an upset if their runners get "in the zone" on Thursday.
