I have heard that Andy Pennington has taken a job at a local bank and that Sweetwater hasn't got a coach. I have heard they have offered the job to Brian Trammell which is the girls coach at Madisonville Jr. High. And some of the basketball players are wanting to transfer to other schools.

Hey, It is true that Pennigton left to manage a bank right now the guys assistant coach Dylan Prince is taking both teams. This will change though as soon as they find either a girls or guys head coach and coach Prince will take the other team as head coach. I havent heard anything about any players transferring and I seriously doubt that any players would leave because once you have worn the jersey for SWEETWATER you know who your playing for and that is the best city in the great state of Tennessee! Look for the Wildcats to be the sleeper this season will contend for district title!

well it's true coach pennington did resign for a job in a bank...and i'm a player and ain't anybody thinking about transfer i don't know who heard that but if somebody said that they were playing cause the people that have worn blue and gold couldn't imagine wearing another color. Yea even through all this coaching turmoil i think we will have a good chance at the district championship...we have 6 seniors..i don't what you're thinking sqhsballer5 or whatever your name is..we are gonna win the county and district title so yall just take a back seat and enjoy the ride.

hey sqhsballa5....y dont u wait till u get on tha court till u start runnin ur mouth...u dont even play....sweetwater is definately winnin county this year so i hope u can settle for 2nd or 3rd cuz we definately wont. but fa real though....when u do get to experience wut it is like to play in a real game and get on tha court...let me know how u like it jg. :angry:

I think that Tellico will have something to say about the county. And as always McMinn Central is still the team to have to beat in the district. Tellico is loaded this year and Seq. High School is a good team also. I know in girls play McMinn Central still has the team to beat.

Yes, we are the 3 time state champs in basketweaving and have 2 seniors this year so we should be good you ignoramus.... Tellico only has one player worth mentioning and thats parsons yes they are a pretty good team when they score but when they dont it is a laughingstock similar to the former Sweetwater teams who couldnt put it in if they had the goal 3 feet high. There is no utterly way possible that Tellico could compete for such a thing.

      One of the biggest loosing teams in Mid-State are the Macon County Tigerettes. I have noticed that the roster is smaller than in the years past. All the senior's have quit. We have a great group of Jr High players coming up. I sure hope they don't loose them, like they have lost so many others this year. With this young group of girls coming up, a weaker district, they should have no problem going to State.

      It was updated this season, because I did it.  Linder is the school's all-time leading rusher at 5,156 yards with 2,436 of those coming in 2014.

      Oh, I’m sure you did. Maybe you heard just a rumor, but considering we have a football practice field and a soccer field that’s frequently used for lacrosse games and practices, I highly doubt it. Let me change that. I know for a fact that didn’t happen.   Glad you finally stopped attacking a bunch of high school students, but still obsessed with the coaching staff for some unknown reason, even though you could name more than three (at most) coaches without looking it up. But now come up with something else.

      Now that wouldn’t surprise me a bit. That has been going on heavily since the days of Larry Kerr @ AC. One of the major reasons CC has never really had much at all, barring about 2 seasons in football. AC milks it dry.
