What are your District 12 AAA predictions

12 AAA is really down this year, and is still a far cry (this and last) from the recent 12 AAA domination in 2002 with DeMarco Polk's Stratford, Penny and Hassan Rasheed's Whites Creek, Spence Richardson and Brian Smith's Maplewood, and Mario Moore's Antioch... That was truly a Banner year for 12 AAA...

 

In this year's diluted district, it really is up in the air. Stratford has to be the favorite, but are far from a dominant team. I agree on Glencliff being a sleeper. Jamont Gordon is the best player in Nashville, and could carry his team in a down district. Whites Creek will be right there as well, as Nollner always has his undersized boys playing great ball...

 

Antioch has a chance, but the kids won't buy into Mangrum's system, so they will underachieve. McGavock will be solid, but not special. Hunters Lane will be scrappy and could comptete. Pearl Cohn will be improved, but not upper-echelon, and Maplewood still has some talent... It will be a close race...

 

Predictions:

1) Stratford

2) Whites Creek

3) Glencliff-sleeper team

4) Antioch

5) McGavock

6) Maplewood

7) Hunters Lane

8) Pearl Cohn (but only a few games behind the upper echelon teams in district)

I agree with you to a certain degree gomab. There is alot of unheard about talent in the 12aaa just waiting for their time to shine. vThere is alot of talent still in the in the district, but I guess we will just have to see if certain players are ready to step up.

Gomab2 I don't like how when ever you talk about Pearl- Cohn we are always at the end of the list you don't really know anything about pearl's basketball team but yet when every you are talking about 12aaa were always being talked bad about bt it is O.K. because we just have to prove all of you wrong and when we do you better give us are credit Thanks.
