I think that there are 3 strong teams this year in 8aaa. LawrenceCounty, Shelbyville, and of course Columbia. I think that all three of these teams have a chance of winning the district. Lawrence County is very strong this year with 5 returning seniors and some very strong juniors and sopomores. They are very good at running the floor because they really don't have much size. Shelbyville will also be very strong this year with Twilly, Marable, and Williams. They also have a big white guy in the middle. Don't know his name. They are going to be a very good team they they have a very good student section. Columbia to me is down the year. It is going to be hard for them to make up what Wadale and Fred brought them last year. They do have Walker and Gray. Oh yeah and Toni. They will be hard to beat in Columbia but it can happen. My predictions on the season will probably go as:

1.Lawrence

2.Shelbyville

3.Columbia

4.Coffee

5.Lincoln

6.Tullahoma

7.Franklin

Yes, I think that Lincoln County will be better then Tullahoma. Tullahoma lost alot including all District Joey Garcia. Lincoln County still has that monster of a man in the center position for them and they also have some ok guards to go with him. I know that last years coach and son left and that hurt them but they are still going to be better then Tullahoma. You never know though. Tullahoma may surprise me.

Lincoln Co is a much improved ball team. Columbia, Shelbyville and Lawrence Co will vie for the top 3 spots. Then you have Lincoln Co, Franklin Co., and Coffee Co contending for 4-6 with Tullahoma bringing up the rear. Things could get really ugly in Tullahoma. I hope not, because Coach Taylor is a good man and fine coach.

    • The amount of people pooing on UH is crazy. They're a noticably better team than last year when they made state and were competitive , AND they run ruled Eagleville a few weeks ago. Now I understand Eagleville was missing a few guys, but they still. They. Run. Ruled. Eagleville. 1st single A team to run rule Eagleville since when? Pre 2017??
    • If that Yellow Paint is all gone I'll flat bet it didn't wash off there. I bet that took some scrubbing to remove that if it is gone. Lacrosse is one of those northern sports all these misplaced Yankee's that are posion to the community brought in by  (Blount Partnership, ( The Devil) with them so somebody allowed them to paint their markings on the field that cost more than the twenty top people on payroll at Maryville make a year. All this to please the 1% Club and the 25 people that would come to see it. All in the name of WOKE!!!!!!
    • They will probably, struggle
    • Dyersburg is going to be good, really good. As mentioned, they have a lot of talent on the way and the trio of Chelby, Joya, and KayKay will only be better with a full season together under their belt. To me, playing in Murfreesboro two consecutive postseasons will only serve to make them more dangerous if/when they stand among the final eight teams this March. Experience, good or bad, always makes you better. And not only do they have experience, they know how to win there. Schedules are coming together for all of the teams and I am excited about what I am seeing on the preliminary drafts on Dyersburg’s schedule. I know I am being a tease, but it’s simply not my place to announce what another school is doing. With that said, I won’t go into specifics. However, I am excited about renewed home and away contracts for the non-district portion of the calendar. I think west Tennessee will have a lot of interest as well.
    • What does everyone have in the final 8? In no particular order. 1. Eagleville 2. Gordonsville 3. Greenback 4. Oakdale 5. South Pitt/ East Robertson-- not sure 6. Richland 7. Halls 8. Union City
