public / private split question

Baylor Athletic Director Austin Clark said this in the paper this morning and I was wondering how it would be implemented after the regular season was over. How would you determine the seeding for the playoffs? Here is his quote.

 

"I would like to see us go back to the old districts we had years ago. That would help the private and public schools with scheduling and make for less travel. Then they could spin us off into private and public schools to compete for championships. I think that would be a great opportunity to treat everybody fairly."

 

I could live with this solution. I have no problem competing against private schools during the season but I believe public schools should compete against other public schools in the playoffs. I can't believe it...I am agreeing with someone from a private school. There is hope VG and BaldCoach.

My Athletic Director says that the DII AD's are going to talk about this live possibility in January when they meet.
