GILES HAS JUST BEAT FT PAYNE BY A WIDE MARGIN AND THEY WILL PLAY AT 8PM TONITE. EVERYONE WAS HITTING ON ALL CYLINDERS. TSMITH MADE SEVERAL BIG PLAYS AND SHAY HIT THE THREE PRETTY GOOD. OVERALL, THEY LOOK MUCH BETTER AS A TEAM. STILL NEED TO WORK ON TEAM DEFENSE AND REBOUNDING. AS THE SEASON CONTINUE LOOK FOR THEM TO GEL.

      I'm not a Powell grad.  I am a Bearden grad.   My son and daughter are Powell grads.   I did radio play by play for Powell, my last year was 2013. I also did radio play by play for South Doyle, and my last gig was at Maryville before I retired.   My oldest grandson plays in the Karns Middle program, so I see more Karns games than I do Powell these days.  I've been to 3 Powell games since 2013.   I don't have any ties to Powell, haven't since 2013.   No "y'all" there.    And the kid you are talking about does have a very good arm, but he's not the QB that Deuce Rogers is.  Rogers is a legit dual threat guy.  The younger kid now at Clinton, or about to be at Clinton, isn't the dual threat that Rogers is.

      No sir. I watched it specifically and it was very dirty. He cleated the boy on purpose. Apparently, it’s an issue in football as well from what several schools have said. That said, looking forward to a good game 3. ER hit it well in game 2.

      He is the transfer. 5star spoke on him in their new qb1 series. Didn’t list em as a transfer but I knew the name
