Let's say you have 2 players of equal size on your team. One of them can bench 250, and squat 400 but has never played before. Then you have another who benches 150, squats 250, but has been playing his entire life. Which would you want on your team?

Bubba,

I know of a situation like this that has arose. A player on our team weighs close to 200 pounds but would be considered weak by most standards , yet he is one of if not the most fundamentally sound players ive ever met. Some call him the technician because of his skills. I would much rather have this player playing middle linebacker for me, than a 200 pound player who could bench 300. Good question, but experience and heart, always prevail over strength.
