District 3AAA Standings

Here are the current standings for this very competitive district. Overall record, followed by district record.

 

Oak Ridge 6-3, (2-0) -- solid as usual

 

Clinton 4-3 (2-1) -- discipline an issue, but talent to burn (loss to OR)

 

Powell 3-3 (2-2) -- playing well, three wins in a row (losses to Clinton, Karns)

 

Halls 2-5 (1-1) -- lost a bunch of very close games, starting a freshman at point who is dynomite. Jones is great shooter. (loss to Powell)

 

Karns 6-5 (1-2) -- Fersner is great, but not enough rebounding (losses to Clinton, Central)

 

Campbell County 7-4 (1-2) -- out of the celler and playing much better (losses to Powell and Oak Ridge)

 

Central 2-6 (1-2) -- good win vs. Karns (losses to Campbell County, Halls)

Halls is 1-1 beat Central. Central is 1-2 lost to C.C and Halls.

With the addition of Sherrod Scott, who will be eligible after christmas, Oak Ridge should be difficult to handle. I think on any given night many of the top 4 teams could beat each other. Second half of season should be very interesting.

Karns is 2-2 in district .....

Campbell County is doing a lot better, with the addition of Darnell Huston on Dec 19th (The AE Transfer) They be a lot more athletic
