is Mark Byrd participating in basketball this year? i knew he had gotten an injury during his last football game against CAK, wasnt sure if this is hindering him from leading the Highlanders from the point position. any news would be greatly appreciated.

This kid must be an all around athlete. I enjoyed watching him play in the Clinic Bowl a few years ago and I wish I could see him shoot some hoops. Does he play baseball also?

Mark does play baseball started in the 9th grade. Baseball maybe his best sport.

Starting to get looks from college programs. Mark has been on the all east tenn. team for the past 3 years. Has never been thrown out stealing. Hits for power.

I am sure if they had teams in track, tennis and water polo he would be the best at that too. When he is finished at Cloudland with athletics they need to build him a perch afterwards for basketball, football and baseball and call it Byrd's Nest. He could come and sit and watch all the Cloudland games free for the rest of his life. I can't ever imagine going to any Highlander sporting event and not seeing him play. He is a great athlete, and a top notch young man. Any college would be lucky to have such a fine young man and student athlete in their program. One word describes Byrd. (Winner)

Mark is a great athlete, and I think Baseball is his best sport, then Football, and hes not bad at Basketball either.
