Obion County?

Does anyone know how Obion County is this year? Do they have any key players and etc?

They wil finish third or fourth in the district. Roney is their key player. Not much else. Coach suffers from shortman's disease. Sad. But Roney is the real deal.

They're 11-3 after defeating McKenzie.Roney is the key to the offense but they have several players out with injuries including Abby Reedy who's out for the season with a torn ACL.Next year they will shine b/c most of the starters are underclassmen including Roney.Jenna has a sister starting high school next year who's as good as she is.

Yeah I have to agree with you Rebfan65, next year OC will be really strong with the two Roney girls and Reedy back and healthy.

jenna roney is the key, one of the hardest working players ive ever seen. lady rebs also have a soph, jennifer davis, that can play, and is getting better every day. boykin, a jr, is solid, and despite all the injuries, this team is pretty solid, and young. roberson, roach, and eason, sr players, all playing well for team. and there is a young bunch coming......that will be fun to watch. team is well coached. in a tough, tough district.

How are they ever going to get past Gibson and Westview....it aint happening. 3rd aint so bad...

wes, you may be right, o.c may finish third, but you know come tournament time i would not want to play obion county. not one to take from those who deserve it, gibson and westview are very good teams, and will likely be one and two in the reg season, but don't overlook obion co. come tournament time.

I agree with wescharge....based on previous years, OC peaks around this time of the year and falls off the map come tournament time....last year they beat Westview at the pit (without Fuqua ).....then finished 4th (?) in the district....they have to stay consistent throughout the year if they want to give Westview and GC competition....Feb. and March matter a lot more than December and January
