State Duals

As the state duals approach, what team will be representing your region? For Region 8, the favorites are Collierville and Bartlett, with Collierville being the favorite. CBHS and MUS should be there again for D2. Good luck, and we'll see you in Clarksville.

Region 2 Farragut/Greenback or Maryville. Greenback has beaten Maryville this year and wrestles Farragut next week.

Looks pretty good to me. Bartlett might factor in there somewhere, but it's hard to judge them against Maryville or Farragut, because the don't go to many of the same tournaments. Also, I haven't seen much of Science Hill, but they are always pretty good.

You can't leave Rossview out of the mix. They beat Kenwood.

I did not know they beat Kenwood what a great accomplishment for the Rossview team.

sorry but only know the left side of the state, dragon should rule unless medical unit doesn't perform as expected, then it's wide open. as far as the rest are concerned, i'll take kenwood in a big match and leave rossview as their stepchild. after that, i'll take millerj predicts, with farragut over maryville because it just sounds better when it comes to wrestling.

If Farragut can put 13 or 14 on the mat, they should have the talent to beat Maryville. As for Rossview, they beat an unhealthy Kenwood team that was missing a few kids. I'll take Kenwood in a rematch.

Maryville has already beat Farragut and I expect they could do it again. Greenback and Karns are also possible region II representatives along with South Doyle. Greenback did beat Maryville but the next match up if for the region finals could be a different story. Both teams have wrestlers that they did not have at the time that they wrestled first. You have to give Greenback a definate chance to get there because right now they are the only team with an undefeated record against Region II opponents.
