Hey IrishDad, can you tell me aything about one of the Father Ryan kids, Taylor Walsh? Is he getting to wrestle any this year with the varsity? Taylor is my wife's cousin and I was wondering how he was doing.

Good morning silentjohn. Taylor have spent time on JV and Varsity. I believe he is at the brentwood tny this weekend (JV). He is greatly improved from last year. Maybe a little Yogi coming out. I can't say for certain if he will travel to soddy

Will the tournament be held at the Soddy Daisy wrestling arena or at their high school?

Wrestling Arena. Right now we only have 1 gym with another being built. However, I believe we will still be at the arena when it is complete. You know the old saying, "The most beautiful sight on a basketball floor, is wrestling mats from door to door!!"

This tournament is a mystery. The Soddy Daisy folks aren't getting too much information out about it.

Coaches Meeting 8:30 am

Wrestling begins 9:00 am

 

Admission (One time charge for all day)

 

Adults $8.00

Students $5.00

12 and under $3.00

 

 

Finals will be run on 3 mats.

 

Double elimination format

 

Awards:

Team 1st and 2nd \ Individuals 1st thru 4th.
