    OOltewah?

Does anyone know anything about them and details from their scrimmages, besides the usual the ran all over them.
  4. No i am not at Cu anymor, I got screwed by them, I am walking on at Tech in the spring maybe
  5. I know you now. Think back to FCA, and i am not bill. SO you should be able to figure it out who i am.
  6. Kick4Pat what team did you play for and where did you go to high school
  7. I attended CU in the fall of 2004 to play football. The coaches are absolutly the best. But the Faculty and staff, have major issues concerning student safety and disicpline. They have a total lack of control over 75% about what goes on. Considering that CU is a private Baptist college, they say that they have total control but they really do not. If you have any questions email me, feel free.
  8. HEART that is all you need to know about COOKEVILLE is heart they got alot
  9. Is there anyone from the Upper Cumberland getting any looks or attention from schools as far as recruiting?
  10. Believe in the cavs, joslin will have his team ready come August. Trust i now i am on the inside. I think that i would know.
  11. If you have to get to the second or third round to get picked for all-state or all-mid state then why did cookeville who went 11-2 and played riverdale very tough not get any publicity. they had arunning back rush for 1200 or more yards. Or is it the same ole same ole that cookeville just does not get any respect. They could have rocked the dale and still no one would have given them any respect. (that was just an example no dis to riverdale). So it is not true that your team has to make it to the 2nd or 3rd round to get picked.
  12. If they are going to give a coach a chance, they need to hire one soon so he can start working on his off-season workout program and have the Dawgs ready for a strong Strong practice. Go Dawgs!!!!!!!
  13. Amen girls do not belong in wrestling
  14. Great to find another HCHS alum!! Maybe we need to start a alumni association for football if they do not have one!! It would be great to get together and talk about old times etc.
  15. What is someone opinion about Riverdale taking the spear back up and going toward Cookeville's players as they were getting ready to kick off and throwing it close or near one of the players. Then, it looked like they were bumping Cookeville's players. Throwing the spear in the "R" is one thing, but throwing it toward the opposing player is bad taste and unsportsman.. Cavaliers - you played hard tonight. As one previous post said - you left on the field. Good Job!!!!!!! thumb
  16. Amen. I agree. I do not reside in Hickman County anymore, as matter of fact, 25 years. But I keep up with the football team. The right head coach will make a big difference and bring some assistant coaches with him that has experience at the college playing level. My son has graduated from high school and now I plan to get to HCHS and watch them play and support the Dawgs. It is great to see some post that know and care about Hickman County. Is there anyone on the team getting any looks from any colleges? Go Bulldogs!!!! thumb
  17. As being a alumni of Hickman County and played football for Coach Wright and True, I am ready for the dawgs to turn it around. I played in the 70's and we were very successful. With the right coach and assistants, the program will definitely grow. Coach True came out of retirement to help the football team. He should applauded for during this. You always have a special place for your coaches the rest of your life. Last year I went to watch one of their practices; The assistant coaches was cutting up and talking while Coach True was working with the team. As an alumni, I want to help make the program better; With funding, etc but not getting in the way of the head coach doing his job as coach. They need a coach with strong morals, discipline and great ideas. Mike Smithson is the AD and wants the program to prosper. Once a Dawg - Always a Dawg. "Bulldog 76" thumb
  18. I have know Coach "J" for a few years. I have all the respect for him. I do support him, his staff and the players. The game Friday night should be a good game and the best prepared team and the one that has the least amount of turnovers will no doubt win. Let's all go out and support the "Cav's" Friday night and enjoy a good ball game. GO CAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  19. What is everybody's taake on Cookeville this year. They lost several key wrestler's last year due to graduation?
  20. Cookeville Matt Bates and Daniel Boyce will be missed from the Cav lineup.
  21. Listen Cookeville I played on the team that had to beat FC to win the region in 2002. They will be ready Greg always has his team ready to play jerry. They are good friends except when they play each other and will do what ever it takes to win. Play hard, Play confident in your abilities and teammates, and most importantly BELIEVE. All the past CAVS are behind and will always stand behind you. So go out and make us proud and play the best football of your lives till next week in the playoffs. DARE TO BELIEVE IN THE IMPOSSIBLE, CAUSE THE IMPOSSIBLE IS WITHIN REACH, YOU WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER IT AND BRAG ABOUT IN THE FUTURE.
