Maybe colored straws, or yahtzee.....All I am trying to say is that in D2 there is no draw, the state seeds or places the D2 teams in the bracket, that is all. My guess is that they separate the region champions, then runners up, and then thirds. This is just a guess.

I've seen the thread. I didn't have anything good to say, but it was good information. Basically, I seriously doubt that the draw was blind, as I have stated before. I guess there has to be some science to it. However, it seems like Father Ryan (first in the middle) should have gotten Notre Dame (last in the east), because the other two #1 teams were paired with teams that placed last in their respective regions/areas. I guess that's all I'm saying, and if papbear is telling me to be careful, I guess I better shut up. Good luck to everyone. By the way, what time are the first duals on Friday?

I think the draw is fair predictor of relative strength. The worst east is better than the best of west (no pun intended).

Put CBHS against MBA OR ND AND THEY WILL WIN.

CBHS' success depends on finding favorable matches between 103 and 145. If they can pick up 3 or more wins in that range, they are almost guaranteed to win the dual. Nobody in D2 can match their strength in the heavyweights.
