Maryville going to "The Doghouse"

There is a big district game at Bearden Friday night.

 

How do y'all see Bearden stacking up against Maryville? What will Coach Blevins try to do with Tipton and Gaskin?

Haven't seen Bearden play, but I know that it is annoying to play at Bearden, everythings so...Old, and everything echoes.

Maryville nor Bearden have the nicest gyms...but then again neither does Farragut. But I do think Bearden is an easier place to play in than Maryville. I see Maryville winning on the road by a margin of 10 or greater.

I think Bearden is an awesome place to play. Of course it could be because I am so.......old. But regardless, "The Doghouse" has a trdition of being difficult to go into as a visitor.

 

Those big old echoeing gyms make for a great basketball atmosphere. I went to High School in the mid seventies when Vernon Osborne was the mack-daddy at Alcoa. When a VO team took the floor, the house was rockin'.

If you can't make the game, you can hear it on KZ 93.5 FM or on 1400 AM. 93.5 will do both games whereas 1400 will only do the boys contest.

Yes thanks for the radio information that should be of great use! I believe that one of the nicest gyms around the KIL would have to go to Fulton! But then again...its only a few years old!

Its More like you guys actually have the money to pay for your facilities. Less schools, more money.

 

And you can't pay for class or respect, so maybe you should earn it.

Well actually if u look at our facilities, the money for our weightroom was donated to the school. I think we also go some other things out of the deal. So its parents willing to pay for their kids equipment and facilities as well as schools money. Farragut has a buncha priviledged families, but none of them donate money to the school, therefore its a run down POS. I can say that, I have been in there, its ugly, cramped, and the technology is horrible.
